Notable Projects

Advanced Container-Based Honeynet for Automated Threat Detection and Analysis

Developed a scalable, container-based honeynet for Universidade de Aveiro, featuring automated honeypot deployment, service mirroring, detailed logging, and dashboards, built on Kubernetes, FastAPI, RabbitMQ, Golang, eBPF, and Elasticsearch.

Adversarial Attacks study on Recommendation Systems

Implemented a blind optimization–based adversarial attack using Differential Evolution to evaluate the robustness of Bellkor and Funk-SVD recommendation algorithms, including a proof-of-concept system and a scholarly article summarizing the findings.

Minerva - Social Network Mining

A system of bots was developed to simulate human activity on Twitter, enabling continuous data collection and analysis of information dissemination, follower interactions, and engagement patterns to study how content spreads across the platform.
